Mesopartner at the Market Systems Symposium 2019

Also this year, Mesopartner participated at the Market Systems Symposium in Cape Town. For the first time, we offered a one-day training the day before the Symposium on complexity and economic development. It offered a deep-dive on complexity thinking and its utility for development practitioners. Also during the Symposium, Mesopartner was very visible and offered one or two clinics on various topics on each day of the event, including clinics on assessing Meso organisations, designing processes of exploration and learning, complexity aware monitoring, and joint sense making.

The symposium showed that Mesopartner’s work on using complexity thinking and engaging in various research themes is of high relevance for the field of Market Systems Development and that our expertise is highly appreciated.
