Supporting a transformation process in an international NGO
Since 2008, mesopartner has assisted an international NGO in its transformation process. The NGO had been operating at a territorial level for a long time, yet its activities were not informed by LED concepts and approaches. In its internal evaluations, the NGO discovered that some of its interventions did not generate sustained impacts, and decided to test an LED approach in order to move from pure social development to an approach that was informed by business principles. mesopartner assisted the NGO through
- direct interaction with headquarters in order to plan the roll-out of the LED approach, including considering the human resources implications
- capacity building for NGO staff on the ground through training in LED principles and the PACA method
- ongoing coaching of NGO staff both at headquarters and on the ground
