The Trainers

Shawn Cunningham, MBA. Experienced facilitator and trainer with a wide range of experience on LED and private sector development issues. Formerly with GTZ's LED Project in South Africa. Joined mesopartner in 2007.
Sonja Ende, degree in Business Administration with specialisation in development economics. Independent consultant, trainer and process facilitator for local and regional economic development with working experience in Europe, Africa and Asia.
Zini Godden, MA in Public and Development Management, is currently managing InWEnt's LED Program in South Africa. She works as an LED trainer and facilitator and has a lot of experience working with public sector officials involved in LED.
Jörg Meyer-Stamer, PhD in social science (Hamburg 1995). Co-founder of mesopartner. Author of the PACA methodology. Co-author of the Systemic Competitiveness concept. Working experience in territorial development in Europe, Latin America, Africa and Asia.
Colin Mitchell left a successful career in finance and financial services to work in the development field. Experienced LED facilitator and advisor. Author of the GENESIS Strategy Method.
Gabriele Trah, MA in social science. Worked over 20 years as advisor in LED, SMME policy, enabling environment and BDS. Co-author of the Donor Committee's "Business Development Services for Small Enterprises". Presently managing an LED project in South Africa.
Frank Wältring, MA in social science with a specialisation in economics (Duisburg 1999). Joined mesopartner in 2004. Working experience with local and regional economic development in Europe, Latin America, Asia and Africa.
