mesopartner was founded in 2003 by Dr Ulrich Harmes-Liedtke, Dr Jörg Meyer-Stamer and Christian Schoen. Frank Wältring, Shawn Cunningham and Colin Mitchell have joined since. The partners are based in Argentina, Germany, South Africa and Vietnam. We conduct work all over the world. Our main customers are ODA donor organisations and national development organisations in developing and transformation countries, as well as private sector organisations and non-governmental organisations.

Our typical mode of engagement is through recurrent short-term missions to support a project or assist a customer in facilitating a process. We enjoy packaging existing methodologies and tools according to our customer’s needs, as well as jointly developing new tools. We thrive on interactive learning. We offer a fresh view and an outside perspective at a local reality. We help local stakeholders to identify their competitive advantage, to find ways of strengthening it, and to identify the strategy to upgrade their location.

We usually do not manage long term projects on behalf of donor agencies. We rather provide know-how to those companies that manage projects, and to donors themselves.
